12×16 Storage Barn — My Shed Story Winner 2016
Every shed has a story. Even yours!
A 12×16 Storage Barn took 1st place this year … complete with a “smashing” set of photos (see pic’s below, and this will all make sense!)
We hosted a contest, and invited our clients to submit their shed stories. We got a bunch of interesting responses, and 3 winners. For the winning entries, our criteria were pretty simple: We were looking for a confirmed Byler shed, an interesting story, and photos that helped to tell the story. And now, our congratulations to …

In this post, we’ll feature the first place story and photos. But expect to see the others around on our website. Next time, your story could be the winner!
My story began on a dark and stormy night. A huge pine tree blew over, landing on my shed. That is when I became in need of a storage barn.
I looked at five different builders, in Virginia and West Virginia. The price of the Byler Barns were very compatible, not the most or not the least. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship were what sold me on my Byler Barn. Everyone I talked to was very helpful and the whole deal went very smooth from ordering to delivery.
I decided to add a loft on both ends up top and add a workbench on one end and shelves on the other. I then put pegboard on the side wall and behind the workbench.
I am very satisfied with my barn and I recommend to everyone to check out Byler Barns .
Thank you, David Kanode
