How It Works
How does it work?
It all starts with our process
We are driven by the idea that life is best lived doing what you love, with the people you love.
Buying Your Structure
We’ve got a full range of payment options to make your purchase as easy as possible. Whether you need a monthly payment plan or you just want to put it all on your credit card, we’ve got you covered. Read on to get your buying questions answered.
Because we customize virtually every building we make, we’ve provided a starting price to work from. Once we understand your goals, your solution will be tailored to fit your specific needs. Keep in mind that various factors, like whether your building is built on-site or whether you’re outside our free delivery area, may affect the final price.
If you’re paying with a credit card or check (what we consider a cash purchase), we typically require a down payment to place the order, and then a final payment after your structure is completed. The amount of the down payment varies, depending on which product you select. We accept all major credit cards.
If you’re looking for a way to purchase your structure using a payment plan, bank financing is often a great option. Like any traditional financing, it is dependent on your credit score and your overall credit worthiness. Contact one of our designers to learn more about our financing options for specific products.
Rather than throw your money away on a storage unit, why not enjoy the convenience of a backyard storage shed while you make payments?
Also known as rent-to-own, this can be a great way to get your new building ordered today. This is perfect for people who don’t want to use their credit when purchasing a shed. At the end of the payment period, you get to own the building free and clear. You can also pay off your building at any time.
Fully finished cabins and site-built garages are not typically eligible. Contact one of our designers for more information on which products are eligible for our lease-to-own program.
We're happy with the purchase and happy with the process."
Once your order is placed, expect a call from our team within 4-5 business days to schedule the delivery of your building. Orders with more complexity, like a cabin or site built garage, may take slightly longer. However, your designer will make sure there is a smooth handoff and set expectations early on in the process. Construction times vary, but generally a shed requires 1–3 weeks, and a fully finished cabin requires 3–4 months.
For on-site construction, construction times vary greatly depending on weather, as well as the size and complexity of your project. As a rule of thumb, most sheds can be built in less than a week, while site-built garages take an average of about 2-4 months to complete once construction starts.
Clearly mark where you would like your new building to be positioned on your property. Keep any building codes or restrictions in mind when you select a location. Also make sure there is a sufficiently wide path to allow us to bring the building onto your property. For instance, a 12-ft.-wide building may actually have an overall width of 14 feet when you include the width of the eaves. Our design team will review this with you to help ensure there is enough space.
Permits and Codes
While we are always willing to assist you with the permitting process, be advised that the customer is ultimately responsible for compliance with any easements, codes, or HOA guidelines.
