LP Sheathing. This workshop is built with reputable LP products. All LP SmartSide products are engineered to be highly impact resistant, and to resist fungal decay and termites. For the the walls and roof we use LP TechShield, a radiant barrier sheathing. This radiant barrier sheathing gives you a number of advantages. You will notice walking into your workshop that it is much brighter. This is because LP TechShield has a foil laminate that is highly light-reflective. Second, the radiant barrier keeps your workshop cooler in the heat of summer. If you walk into two different workshops, one with radiant heat barrier and one without, you will notice an obvious difference. LP sheathing comes with LP’s 20 year transferable warranty.
Metal Roof. All of our workshops feature tar paper. Tar paper is a vapor barrier that makes your workshop more weather-resistant. On top of that is a metal roof. The metal roof that protects your investment is rolled locally by a reputable manufacturer. It is about the toughest, longest-lasting roof you can find. The roofing is made of thick 32-guage metal, along with a rugged paint system.
Treated Floor System. All our double-wide workshops come standard with our reinforced, pressure-treated flooring. The floor joists are 12″ on-center, covered by 3/4″ plywood. The skids and all the floor joists are pressure-treated. This creates a floor that is highly rot-resistant, and will remain solid for years to come.
